Graduate Students
Positions for graduate students are routinely available in our group. We are looking for candidates with interests that align with our research focuses and aim to develop a career in chemistry. Previous experiences in general electrochemistry, inorganic, polymeric or biomaterials, colloidal and interfacial chemistry preferred but not required. Students with B.S. or M.S. in a related science or engineering discipline are all welcome.
For admission, the graduate school at UTK requires an 80 (TOEFL) or 6.5 (IELTS) for English tests. A test score in GRE is recommended but not required.

Postdoctoral Researchers
We occasionally have openings for postdoctoral researchers. Successful candidates should be trained in electrochemistry and have acquaintance with electroanalytical techniques. Prior experiences with batteries, electrocatalysts and nanomaterials are preferred.

Please be prepared for reference letters, with one must come from your dissertation advisor. We prefer candidates with strong motivations for academia career.
